District Contacts: Local Democratic Party Reps

HDA has historically aligned itself with local candidates running on the Democratic ticket. We have, therefore, added this page to let you know who the elected Holmdel Democratic Party County Committee reps are for your district.

Holmdel is divided up into 10 voting districts. Each district, per state law, has a male and female party representative for each of the 2 major parties. These district party reps are elected in a June primary to a 2-year term, most recently in June 2010. They are officially elected as Members of the County Committee [- Male or -Female] for their party for their municipal voting district.

Often, the Committeeman & Committeewoman for a district are a married couple, though this certainly is not a requirement!

The purpose of these representatives is to reach out to party members in their district regarding elections and party activity. Contact your district's County Committee reps if you want to know more about the Democratic Party at the local & county level or to voice a concern which will be conveyed to the Democratic Party.

* Grace Modla is not the elected Member of the Democratic County Committee - Female for Holmdel District 3 but rather a resident of District 3. Grace was elected
   as Municipal Chairperson of the Democratic County Committee in June 2010.  Per State election law, the Municipal Chairperson does not need to be an elected
   district representative.
